What are your plans.

This may have been asked before, and could probably be asked of all 3 gen's of 7's, but I only want to know about the 2nd gen guys.

What are your overall plans for your 2nd gen RX-7. Are you a gear head that is going to throw every go-fast mod you can afford in your car? Are you the drifting type that is going to put fast mods in that will allow you to spin in circles? Are you going to make your car as pretty as possible, and turn it into a show car? Is it just something that gets you from point a- to point b, until you can find something better? Or are you like me, and going to keep the car as stock as possible, and hold on to it untill they put you in the grave.

I have been around long enough, that I have seen cars that I could have picked up in the early eighties, for a couple of hundred dollars, turn into cars that are now worth $20K+ Sometimes I kick myself for not buying the cars back then... now, I am holding onto my cars forever.

I own the lowest mileage AE in existence, it's staying stock. Someday I'll buy an s4 TII, strip it out, and go speed racer go!

I'm keeping mine mostly stock. She's in execlent shape and I want to keep her that way. Maybe at most an intake and exhaust upgrade. Possibly some wheels but that's it. She's slow enough for me not to get into too much trouble but quick enough to make me enjoy her.

Oh and screaming, you suck! JK how the heck did you find that low a mileage 7?!?

I've noticed nobody voted to drift so far.

as for me i'm going for a good handling vehicle with some quicks. noting too fancy until i have a better job, then i can afford to try drifting (i'm 136% positive i'd crash)

so until then it's just my DD and my work in progress, along with a new paint job and a little bodykit coming soon.

I was considering going all out (300rwhp, coil overs, rollbar, polyurethane bushings) but then I thought about how my car would only be at the track 1% of the time so I'm just going to a mild setup thats very streetable. I don't feel like dumping 10 grand either into this car when I can easily afford an FD right now.

My goal is to be the first to put 500,000 on an FC :0

Her entire life has been 95% highway miles, so she's aging gracefully. New Mazda parts replace whatever's on it's way out...

Keeping her stock except intake & exhaust, and perform a "go Speed Racer, go" at least once or twice a day

there's not an option for autoxing?

anyways, i'll be shooting for 325-400whp daily driven, got most everything i need. just looking for a MT and put it together.

THEN i'll be going ALL OUT reliability/suspension. i'm talking poly bushings, roll bars, stainless steel fuel system, blah blah blah...

Pure luck. I have been looking for a blue '88 GXL for over 2 years. I didn't find a single one during that time, until I ran across this one. Then when I saw the mileage, I had to have it. Pure luck. The guy bought it as an investment vehicle, socked it away in his garage and only put 2K miles on average on it a year. He finally got bored of it, and didn't like how the 7's kept droping in price... so, he decided to sell it... I found it, and bought it.
