what is wrong with my car?!!!
ok i had to fix my P.D., did that, then i did the throttle body mod, put the car back together, everything is in the right spot, but no my car floods everytime you try to turn it over, i had to pull teh plugs let it dry out and try to start it agian and it floods again. i have yet to reset the tps could that be it, or is it a fuel flow, the way it acts it as if the fuel just keeps comming like the throttle is wide open, i have poored over my rapiar maunal for 2 days and i am at a loss, any help will be much appriciated.
did you put the throtle cables back with enough slack? if they are open to much that could be your problem. also did you use new o-rings and gromets for the injectors if you took them off? thant's all i can think of for now

make sure all your vacume lines and **** are hooked back up right. a vacum leak can cause some crazy **** to happen, but i dont think it would cause flooding. hhmm..... Did you happen to crack an injector when putting it back in? or a leaky o ring or something? i would go through and check your injectors and your fuel rail and things. Good luck and keep us posted
This sounds similar to my problem, my 90 GTU is barely starting, idling high, and dumping raw fuel out the exhuast pipes.
Only one rotor is firing, and think the other is flooding out. Any ideas as to what would cause one rotor to flood out/not fire?
(already put new plugs and wires)

Well,
My automotively inclined Uncle came in town this week. He was only here for a day before he brought my 7 back to life. Apparently my Metering Oil Pump Wiring Harness was bad. I happened to have a spare laying around (not perfect, but still a substitute), and after placing the new harness on, the car fired right up. NO SMOKE, NO FUEL COMING OUT THE EXHUAST. However it was severley out of tune from my frantic adjustments. An hour later, it was idling perfectly.
So, the good new is my engine is not blown. The bad news is, that I am still getting a code 27 after it idles for a while. I have trouble believing that the three MOP's I have used are all bad. They all pass the continuity tests, etc. So, I fear I have a long road of wiring tests in front of me.
If any one has had this happen to them (perfect idle, then a code 27), let me know your solution. I will be ordering a new Wiring harness for my MOP to eliminate that possibility.
MY CAR IS ALIVE!!!!------YAY!!!!
