i recently found an s4 rx7 sitting at this shop...its been sitting there for 6 months...i didnt knwo that but i've seen it sitting there for a few...so i go over to it and ask them if any of them own it...they say that owner of it blew the engine and doesnt know what he wants to do with it..we'll here's the skinny on the car...the body seems to be in excellent shape..i didnt see any rust on it at all didnt look under the car...interior is pretty much torn up...didnt check the miles on it..but since the engine is blown i told a guy who knew this gentlemen that i would offer him 400 bucks for it...i can use my engine out of my gxl and my interior...just wondering if you think its to much for a car of this shape...like i said its rust free and thats what i'm looking for...let me know what you guys think

may not even be blown up, there is alot of RX7 owners who have never experienced a flooding condition before and alot of mechanics who have never worked on a rotary before. assume it is blown and it could be a bonus if it isn't.

since you have an engine then it is up to you to decide whether it is worth it or not, basically it depends on if $400 and a little bit of work is worth a decent running RX7 or not.

yeah you knwo i didnt even think of that..i think it would be a good buy because my rx is starting to rust a bit in the rear wheel arches and i konw its gonna be expensive to fix so i was kinda trying to find one that didnt have any rust on ti but with a blown engine or something so i could just drop mine in...
