Well i was thinking about getting msd ignition for my car... What would the benefits be and what would i need to set it up... right now my current mods are basic... Intake..Exhaust...no cats... no p/s or air pump.... and i will have a header by the time i get the msd..and for the price is there anything else i could buy that would benefit me more.. thanks.. btw i have a 1991 base model

Me too.

I've been thinking of upgrading my igntion sense Im running out of things to do. Basically from what I know it will give you a stronger spark, making your car run better, and add a little power, and gas mileage.

I've installed a few MSD's on 2nd gens. Not too hard of an install, and it really is a noticeable difference. Better idling, easier starting, smoother power, smoother power at the top of the powerband. Well worth it for the price.

if you get an MSD box get the 6a.

you might want to look at the crane hi 6 as well
