what is this and why is it capped?

what is this , what does it lead to, and why is it capped? its near the vac hoses coming from behind the engine to the ACV and the red hoses that go to turbo and BOV etc...... check the pic

S5's don't have EGR.

Strictly from the location of it, I would say FPR. Does your car have an aftermarket FPR?

isnt the egr behind the engine itself...like at the firewall...il take a better pic today....its over by the ACV on the pass side of the IC and a little bit near the BAC valve

it goes behind the intercooler and i cant get down there with a camera......its not even in the damn schematic in the manuals..which i dont friggin get

It looks like a red tube thats attached to the engine and has a screw at the end of it?? And its really short. Do you have your ACV still attached? If so id say its just capping one of the vac lines and i wouldent worry about it. I have like 5 lines caped in that same area where the ACV was removed. Try to find out if any systems were removed like the acv for example

its weird...if its just capped with a screw from the factory...its a screw, no real cap or fastners...the red with the T is going to the BOV from the ACV and it T's to my gauge

yea it runs from the vac lines to a little red hose, maybe 3/4" long, and its capped with a screw

and yea as j9fd3s said before...my acv is there....its pretty visible i think

it travels down and i cant follow it

boost gauge maybe, but this isnt coming from the turbo
