What Weight Royal Purple Do You Use?

I just purchased the RX7 in my avatar. Seller claims to have been using 5W30 ROYAL PURPLE motor oil. As the car is in Florida it never runs in cold weather. What weight RP do you use?

The tranny is using Red Line and won't need attention for awhile. Seller thinks I should change out the RP not because of the miles but because of the time. He didn't drive the car much.

10w30, synthetic oils can withstand higher and lower temps (usually) than normal non-synthetics so don't worry about it. If you do feel worried, run some synthetic 20w50...

I'm not exactly sure why he'd use 5w30 in FL, but oh well...

I don't use Royal purple, but I do use Castrol GTX(common) non synthetic. It's recommended to use 20W50 for warm weathers.
