Emergency Brake

The e-brake is not working but the system says it is! When I pull it up i tend to roll, any idea how to fix this?

have you tried tightening it by chance? To tighten: remove the e-brake cover and tighten the nut, then put cover back on.

do yourself a big favor and go buy a haynes manuel for the car.

cables are probably torn or stretched. I have the front cable brand new if you interested.
