What Is Up With My Turbo Ii?? Please Help

i just got a 87 turboII from a person for a good deal. the turbo is gone out on it. it gets red hot he says. i htink there is also a wiring problem cause when i checked the inside fuse box i noticed that the one and only fuse that sticks out farther than all the others was blown. and as soon as i try to put another one in it blows that one to. and when i take out a fuse by that. it sounds like i have some kind of fan cuts on around the front of the engine. the car just cranks over and over but not will start. i tried unflooding it, i have tried takin th litttle washers off of the spwark plug for better spark. the cranking will get faster and faster but wont start. does anyone know what goes in that fuse area that is missing? and what kept coming on? also what r the essentuals that u all need to start up a 87 turbo II. (ex) spark, fuel.

The red hot turbo could be a clogged catalytic converter.

Go to the fuses under the hood and pull the 60 amp fuse. Then replace the 7.5 amp fuse near your foot. It probably will not blow. Now go to you ECU under the feet of the passenger. Pull the small plug of the three plugs. Put the 60 amp back in. Did the small fuse blow when you turned the key on and cranked for just a moment????? If it did not blow, then the ECU is shorted internally. To prove it, put the small plug back on and if it blows, then the ECU is causing the short. If the fuse blows with the plug off the ECU then trace the wire from the ECU to the 7.5 amp fuse. Its a blue and red wire at tje fuse that transforms itself into a white and blue wire at the ECU. There is one connector inbetween. Do NOT crank you starter anymore. Your wearing it out. CAr will not start until you fix the shorted wire.
That one connector inbetween the seven amp fuse and the ECU is located on the passengers feet above and to the right. Should be a thirteen pin connector. Should be the thrid pin over from brown and red wire on the end. Download the electrical schematic from http://www.iluvmyrx7.com/Technical_I...ice_manual.htm Look for the schematic that is labled EGI AND EMISSIONS...........
