CA What type of lsd do I have?

I got a 88 GTU and I was wondering what type of LSD I have? Does anyone know whether it's a 1 way, 1.5, or 2 way? Thanks.

Most of the GTU models did not come with a limited slip differential. Almost every GXL and sport models from 86 to 1988 all came with a clutch type differential that was limited slip. They switch to the viscous style in 1989. So most likely you have a factory ordered GXL clutch style and your GT you that was put in by the factory or swapped in at a later date. All of the turbo differentials have a larger pinion and different driveshafts.

Actually, funny thing, the GTU was only made for 88 and up, and actually 1988 was the only GTU with a lsd! Clutch-type 1.5 way. Can turn into a locker (2-way) with a Mazdatrix clutch pack
