Exclamation what are the symptoms of the 3800 rpm hesitation??

what are the symptoms of the 3800 rpm hesitation?? If my car does have it, then its keeping my secondary injectors from opening for some reason, i can give my car full throttle all the way to 3800 rpm, then only half-throttle after 3800 rpm, or it will hesitate and get "stuck" at whatever rpm past 3800 i'm at but if i let off the gas back to half-throttle it will continue to rev all the way to the redline. does anybody know what this might be?? By the way i have done the following maintenance to my car, new fuel filter, new plugs and wires(all working correctly) fuel pressure is normal, there WAS rust and other sediments in my tank until i cleaned it out, i cleaned my fuel sock(new one on the way) secondary injectors appear to be clean. ive had my car for almost 2 months, and whatever this thing is... its driving me crazy!!! i dont know what else to do, please help. my car is an 86 GXL with 130214Miles on it. Thanks in advance.

Sounds more like a sensor malfunction... Check codes, more then likely the boost/pressure sensor is bad not letting the secondaries come on.

The sensor is a black box on the strut tower.. Should have a vac line attached.

Here is the link for pulling codes:

oh ok i just looked at it, is there any way of telling its bad by pulling out the vacuum hose with the engine running? for example: if i pull out the vacuum hose from the engine and rev it, and it still does the same thing, then it is possibly bad?
