What size and style exhaust are you running on your na ?
I am just wondering what kind of exhaust setups people are running on here on their na's
I'm running a Racing Beat header (dual 2" primaries to 2.5" collector) , to a 2.5 " straight pipe ( no cat ), to a Borla catback (2.5" before y pipe , dual 2" after , with 2 1/4" or 2.5 " tips, im not sure on the tips size)
I think this exhaust sounds pretty sweet, its not too loud at low throttle/low rpms but when you open it up it gives you all that rotary power sound.

i'm running an old school racing beat header (which eliminates the main cat) to the stock y-pipe and mufflers with the 2.5 inch tips. it sounds really unique when it is idling at 750rpm...like a hollow burble. when you open it up it just gets really annoyingly loud, but i love it!
stock exhaust manifold to racing beat n/a down pipe 2.5 to racing beat prescliencler 2.5 to corksport catback 3 1/8 it has a 4 inch tip on the can
really loud but sounds very nice and deep.

i'm running an unknown header 2" to a 2.5" collector and then a 2.5" single straight pipe all the way to the 2.5" ractive muffler. it was customed made before i bought it. i love the low throaty tones on it.
i'm looking for a new exhaust, how much did all of you spend on your setups? also, any info on what i should be looking at, like brands or pipe diameter. i know racing beat is good and well supported by a lot o people on here, and i think i read somewhere that 2 1/2 is good. can anyone back this up? lol, jsut start throwin info at me, i'll soak it all in. thx

stock exhaust manifold, racing beat n/a downpipe, racing beat presilencer, corksport 2.5-3" cat-back. i love it, nice and loud haha. i had a racing beat cat-back but i just didnt like how quiet it was under 3k so im selling it and have the corksport now. video here: http://videos.streetfire.net/video/0...43016afd5b.htm
I have the Racing Beat Header and pre-silencer with the old HKS 50mm catback that Mazdatrix used to sell. I like it and it sounds pretty good but I'd like to switch to the RB catback one day.Really only got the HKS because a friend was selling it and I got a good deal on it otherwise I would have held out for the RB.

Id say the borla is pretty much conservative like the racing beat and only gets loud after 3k rpms but it sounds really good, and not like a weed wacker on steroids.
I got my catback on ebay new for $300 which is cheap and the headers for $260 and straight pipe for $50 , totalling about $600 for the full setup

right now i have a custom 2.5 catback.. but i have sum racing beat headers that i am going to put on this week that replace the cat, so ima just put it on and connect the whole thing.. my car is gonna sound pretty good because right now it has a kind of deep tone so with the straight pipe so it should sound great on open throttle.. i think the best thing to do would be go to your local muffler place or w.e and just get a custom exhaust, its alot cheaper and its the same thing.. exhaust is just a pipe
well i got a rb street header for $20 , that goes to a high flow catco cat and then to tsudo muffler with a 4.5 tip all done with 2.5 inch piping sound great i think at wot. all together i think i paid $75 for the whole setup after my work discount, its been awhile though so i really dont remember the details
