What Size Are The Fuel Pump Flange Screws?

... or where to find the size of the screws that hold the fuel pump in on the gas tank? The old ones are mostly destroyed cause of rust.

For that matter, anyone have a favorite website for buying size specific screws? Pep-boys just ain't doin it for me.

Take one of the old screws to a fastener store. I think they're M4, but don't take my word on that.

M4 x 0.7 x 8mm length (10mm long with screw head)

I just took mine to lowes and matched them up. Closest match was M4 x 0.7, 10 mm length without head. The extra 2mm shouldn't matter too much, but if you're picky about it, get some washers for $0.50.

They are available in cap screws (allen wrench type) and hex head both, 4 for $0.80. The UPC number for the hex head bolts is 009236710298

Bit of advice though: To make replacing them easier, leave at least two of the old ones in to get the holes to match up, it makes it a LOT easier.

Icemark, if you see this, please add it to the Nut/Bolt/Screw thread guide if it's not already there.
