What is this? (S5 turbo)

What does this go to? My car is an 87 TII, this is a picture of S5 turbo that is going to be attached to it.

THanks for any help you can provide!

8 months since it's run - we're almost done!

cap it off..

the more air you let out of that hole, the more boost you will run

If you are going to be using a boost controller (mechanical or electronic) then you should be bypassing that air rail either way.

But yes, that nipple is for the factory boost controller solenoid.

So with aftermarket boost controller, your 'IN' to the controller will go straight to the compressor cover nipple, and your 'OUT' will go straight to the wastegate actuator.

No, only S5 / Kouki has that boost control solenoid.
For S4 / Zenki, cap the "T".

Or...you can run a hose from the top where it exits the compressor housing all the way down to the wastegate actuator, totally bypassing that stupid "T" you're pointing to.
