what is the purpose of this?

i was searching for cheap gasket sets for my car (being positive) and i ran across this little thing. what does it do and would it be worth it?

Looks like a belt with cogs on it for running you water pump and alt. I guess it makes a whir noise? Seems like it would elim the need for a dual pully on your water pump and alt. I guess it could be some bling factor

If they had one that would accept a airconditioner belt .....I'd be tempted to buy one.

It all depends on what you are looking at. Weight loss and positive grip? Good. Noise, bad. I like the thought, but the noise would drive me insane. I like the look though.

i have a 3 inch exhaust and a half bridge motor..what noise?

i dont have an ac anyway so its very tempting..if i ever get any money i may do that..

I don't know about that set, but a mate had one on his FC that allowed the front half of the main pulley (A/C and P/S) to be bolted to the front of the new toothed main pulley.
