what oil?
ok sunday im putting in a engine that i bought wit 40k miles... so i wanna change the oil and tranny oil... what oil should i use? what company? how many quarts? btw i live it NJ so its a bit nippy out still but summers are like 70-80 n above... help please

I'm in NJ, too. For the engine, I use Castrol 20-50 year-round, although some may suggest something a bit lighter in the winter, but I've never had any problem with 20-50. In the trans, I used Redline's MT-90. Expensive at $8/qt, but it smooths out the 2nd gear grind if you have it, and it makes shifting easier on cold winter days before everything is up to operating temp.

Where in NJ are you? I got mine from Driving Impressions in Dover, not far off of Rt 10. If you have any speed/tuning shops in your area, they may have it. The major auto chains like Pep Boys, Autozone, won't, though.
