I personally would spend it on a Haltech before you upgrade the turbo. Did you want to spend it on the engine? Maybe you could do some cosmetic work to the car?

Well E6K is definetly something I am looking into.

I plan to fix up my stereo soon so I am guessing I will 1k of the 3k to my stereo.

More and likely the 2k will be used for the e6k + tuning. I would go with the E11 but its brand new.

In would definitely go with the haltech. E11 is new, but more people right know how to work on the E6K. If i would have known i would have gotten it like first or second, in my list of mods. this way you avoid all those little gremlins, that sometimes plague the TII.

I definitely think there are better ways to spend $1,000 than on a stereo. I say get the new haltech to stay ahead of the game and go with a hybrid turbo from BNR. If you have enough money you might want to get 2 more 720cc injectors for the primaries to be safe.

What next... 2nd Gen Power FC

I would put in a bigger turbo and a 2nd gen Power FC. Yes, I said A 2nd Gen Power FC. They do make them and my car is the first in the US to have one installed on an American 2nd Gen TII

You can special order the 2nd Gen Power FC from Rotary Performance in Garland TX. www.rx7.com Ask for Ari or Chris. It took mine almost a year to arrive. But that was because it was the first of it's kind in the U.S. So it is the guinea pig for all you 2nd gen owners.

As for the Turbo upgrade. Go to Majestic Turbo in Irving TX.
http://www.dallasturbo.com/ They have 3 stages of upgrades they can do to your stock turbo. They use the same stock housing and upgrade the guts. Mike is the owner and can help you determine which upgrade will be best.

Then put in some 1000cc secondaries.

That will just about take your 3k. But the Power FC alone has the potential to add almost 50HP by itself because of all the endless tuning capabilities. And with an upgraded Turbo and larger secondaries you could potentially see a 25 to 100hp gain depending on how your car is setup and tuned.

Mine started with 187 at the wheels and is now in the range of 265 at the wheels and still being tuned at RP to squeeze out some more. I will post the results when I get the official tally.

Hey I remember you We met a few times at some of the dfw meets.

I am going to go ahead and get the following from BNRSupercars for my Turbo Upgrade:

60-1 compressor wheel
T04B dynamic Package
360 thrust package
15 degree clipped turbine
ported wastegate
ported turbine housing entrance
all new piston rings/bearings ect.

After that I will probally go with a Haltech or the Power FC you mentioned.

Remember that you might need 2 more 720cc injectors with that turbo. Ask Bryan to find out.

That's a lot of money to blow for cosmetics only. SS lines add weight too.
Stock fuel filter does a fantastic job.

-Full RE pully kit
He said streetable. Why would you slow down your already ****-poor alternator for the street?

Man do it like this, for serious power,

60-1 or 62-1 1400$
hks manifold 450$
oil-water lines, 150$
downpipe 100$ or less (custom)
GReddy fmic 900$

ok i might be just barely over 3k but close,
then just ride around for a short while untill you save up just a little cash and do some fuel mods, then you will have made some serious freaken power
