Question what model rx7?? identify this model plz

sup all, i am considering buying an "FC" rx7 from a friend but i dont know what model it is since the emblems are removed????
the drivers door jamb says its an '88 if i remember right. here are all the clues that i have so maybe someone could plz identify the model for me? Also i would like some opinions about the condition of the car.

clues:
the interior middle console has some buttons for some type of "sport" adjusting suspension maybe? Assuming this is OEM for THIS car and not borrowed from another rx7

it has a retracting electric moonroof/sunroof.

it has a hood scoop- this MAY have been borrowed, cant remember what the previous owner said about it.

i think the IRS differential has LSD, i jacked up the rear and rotated the pass side wheel and the driver side wheel rotated in the SAME direction- true forwards and backwards.
(note: when i rotated the driver side wheel, the other wheel did not rotate.)

The pulsation damper is located behind the water pump housing/under the intake runners and i do NOT believe its attached to the main fuel rail/injectors...so that makes the car an 88 for sure- right?

Its got a 7K RPM redline on the cluster i believe. oh, its a 5 speed.

the stock tire size is 205/60/r15 i think, its been a while since i looked at it.

what model is it?

Here are the DETAILS about the condition of the car:
The car has 150K on the Od. Ive worked on the car several times, not knowing as much about rotaries as i am learning now tho. The car has had a freshly rebuilt 13B from rx7Heaven installed not more than a few thousand miles ago, if that. I helped my buddy replace the clutch with a new oem style clutch and also the tranny has been replaced with another used tranny from rx7heaven (also replaced by me and my buddy).

It has been sitting for about a year because he never fixed the leaky pulsation damper. i told him to fix it himself and he let it sit because he is a lazy punk. It wouldnt run once the damper started leaking badly- no fires tho thank God. Now the car wont even turn over, all i get is a click?

i dont think the car has been overheated since the rebuild (it has a completely different block now btw), but there may have been an incident when the coolant overflow/resevior boiled. i understand that this is not a good thing at all but should i rule out the car solely because of this?
I also suspect he may have driven it hard before warm-up on occasion. this is also bad, i know.
i read that i can test the coolant seals but when doing so should i fill up not only the radiator but also the overflow/resevior? also i read that if i get a LARGE amount of coolant coming out of the coolant fill when cranking the motor (with egi pulled) then the coolant seals are blown....does this mean it will "suck in" coolant??? OR will it "push out" coolant??? could someone explain this a litte more to me? Thanks for all the info guys.

If it has the AAS (auto adjusting suspension) then it would be a GXL... The hoodscoop is not "stock" for the N/A... if its a N/A then somebody just put a Turbo II hood on the car.

the easiest way to tell is just to look under the hood. The hood scoop you mentioned will have an intercooler right under it, on the top of the engine, if it is a Turbo II model. Aside from that, if it has the power windows, it could also be a GXL, which is non-turbo. On the TII, the intercooler even says "intercooled turbo" on it, so it would be hard to miss. Read the sticky at the top of this section for better info--the FAQ or the "what did my FC come with" ones.

Oh yeah... this is "Stickied" at the top... try reading the FAQ, and browse through the archives as well, ALOT of simple and often asked questions are solved by reading those sections.

thanks for the replies guys
altho i had already looked thru the FAQs before i posted this, i was still confused. I know that this rx is not a turbo model, no offense but i DO know enough about engines to determine that. That is beside the point.-
I didnt see anything in the FAQs about which model 88 rx7 came with the electric moonroof/sunroof??? Also if this IS a GXL then would it come equipped with an auto?? because this rx7 is a 5spd.
i would just like someone to confirm that they think this is an 88 GXL- and make sure none of my info is 'clashing' and all signs point to one year/model rx7 so that i am for certain which model it is. Please bear with me, i have looked at the 'sticky threads' already---Do these other things hold true if the car is an 88 GXL? :

i think the IRS differential has LSD, i jacked up the rear and rotated the pass side wheel and the driver side wheel rotated in the SAME direction- true forwards and backwards.

Please Disreguard My Last Post

thanks for the replies guys, please disreguard my last post. I overlooked some things in the FAQs earlier:

I knew that this rx is not a turbo model, no offense but i DO know enough about engines to determine that. That is beside the point.-
I did see some things in the FAQs that i had overlooked. ive determined that the car is an 88 GXL. its got dual rear storage boxes, rear window wiper, power windows/locks ,door map pockets, LSD and such that tells me its more than likely indede an 88 GXL. Some of these things were not offered on any other models to my understanding. Should this be correct? Thanks for the help.

I believe all models have power moon roof except for GTUs. I think you may be right about it being a GXL but the only thing is does it have the AAS? should be 2 switches just behind the mirror control and if you look at the shock tower there should be some wires going to the rubber cover. Another indicator would be 4 piston brake calipers.
