You could go to any online auto parts site and do a search for your particular car and it will provide you with a list of those batteries that are a fit for your car.

Yellow Top Optima for when she gets flooded. The one I bought I used in a few different cars over the coarse of 3 years. I did something ignorant like not tie the battery down so its out of commission now.

My friend has one in his RX-7, he went to start it up last week after not running for 4 months.
It was cold cold and he said the car started right up, had all the air in the tires. Needless to say he was happy with the battery and basicly his entire experience with the RX-7 that cold winter day.

I think everyone gave you options for lower priced batteries. This one cost 189USD. You know what your budget is and now you have options.

Chris

P.S. for anyone that used Megasquirt, you know why my friend was actually happy :-P

Just measure yours (or your tray) and go to the parts store. Find the beefiest one they have that fits your dimensions.

I have a 650/880 from orielly's and it SUCKS when it's cold outside. Get as big as you can, that will fit in the tray.

If I were having to change my battery I would go to Wally World and get the biggest one that will fit in my holder tray. You can't beat a big battery on a cold morning!!

You need 8 Double A Duracell. then you get 12 volts.

oh wait ... make that 9 ? 13.5 volts ?

seriously, just get some Duralast or Autocraft Gold (or whatever ur auto chain store carries), look for some coupons online and the price should be around 60-70 bux.

60-70 bux for 3 years free replacement is not bad at all.

Group 35 is all you need. more CCA the better of course. but if your battery keeps on dying then you have a bigger problem than the battery's capacity/quality.

I use Optima because I got it for free (don't ask how), its good but would I get another one? hmm, dunno, it cost double

LOL. You don't need that many just for the cold. I live in Vermont and just 2 days ago it was -15 below ZERO. My battery is only 650 and it started first crank.
