What if secondary Injector wires were switched?

I am using an N/A harness(s4) on a TII engine.I got it to fire up,but it wouldn't Run past,Say 2,500 or so..it kept Boggin..feather the pedal, kept it goin then died.
Besides running all 720's on a N333 to start it up(which it did, I had an Rtek 2.1 But I left the Palm Pilot at the house..so I used the Stock 333 to start up.).all I can come up with is my Secondary wires could be switched,as I retaped the harness, making it all neat,.but I wasn't 'observant" at the time I took the harness off the N/A engine..
So,what would an Engine DO,if the Secondarys were in the wrong wiring order.(not FIRING..Wiring).Thanks Guys.
I should know better.,just one of Those Craft moments!..STYX.

The secondaries only come on above 3800rpm and when you're under heavy load. From my Rtek logs, you can actually be under considerable load (maybe 50% or less) and they still won't be on. So, basically, you're not even using your secondaries under the conditions you're talking about. That's all the primaries, which are 25% bigger than the ECU expects them to be. It's extra rich, so I'm not surprised that it's bogging down on you. Get that Rtek in there and it ought to be much better.

Secondarys batch fire anyway according the NZCONVERTIBLE. I'm not sure where he came up with that data. https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...ght=BATCH+FIRE

But Rotary Rocket 88 already explained how it matters not under the conditons your running.

Fact is I've deliberitly gone to the ECU and swapped the PRIMARY fuel injector wires and the car acts no different at idle or any other speed. It'd be nice if someone out there would go to their ECU and swap the two PRIMARY wires and see if they notice any difference. The Light Green and the Light Green/Black wires.

Ya,Rocket,.I am thinkin it there is Way too much fuel,I can smell it..and you can see little swirls of light smoke at the tail pipes.(kind of cool.like little Tornadoes!).
.The Wires I meant, are Not the Two Wires that are ON the Harness(soldered and taped, triple wrapped, etc).I am talking about the Injector Connectors being on the Wrong Injector.(like rotor one has the injector connected to Run as Rotor two..).
..Hailers:,Thanks as always.I pretty well assumed that Since the Primary Plugs fire at the same time then the Injectors are not going to matter if the wires are switched around there.
When I got New Connector wires From Keith@KGPARTS.com ( shameless plug for da man!).the wires are not Marked. I emailed him. He replied that it doesn't matter if the Wires are Reversed On the harness to the connector.
.So..I am gonna Hook up the Rtek and Program it.
Thanks gents..any other info on the subject is appreciated..Cheers,STYX.

Well, according to NZCONVERTIBLE and the RETED, the primary fuel injectors fire sequencially (sp). The spark plugs fire at the same time and that's called a wasted spark system.

From what I read from NZCONVERTIBLE etc, the secondary injectors batch fire, so it would matter not if the secondary injector plugs were crossed.

But one day I was fudging around and delibertly swapped the primary fuel injector wires at the ECU and the car ran normal. The afr were even the same. Confuses me. As in "how can that be?".

It says here the injectors fire 180 e-shaft degrees apart. If that is always the case during normal running, I can see how swapping the plugs wouldn't matter much. If one injector is fired every time the e-shaft rotates halfway around, over any significant period of time I can't see it mattering which one fired first.

Interestingly enough, it also says in the training manual on another page that the weird s4 models were batch fired. By "weird" models, I mean the ones that came with a distributor and seem to be a lot like the series 3 GSL-SE in the way the fuel injection system was designed.
