guys I am missing a hose here. my car also has a hard time starting since I did the swap, once it runs it is great. Is it because of this hose missing?

Off the top of my head, probably one of the two for the PCV system. If the nipple is uncovered on the UIM, you'll have a vac leak. Check the vac diagram to find out for sure what it is.

yeah part of the pcv system. There is a nipple at the top uim that hose connects to. The hose that goes there looks like it's hanging out by the coolant line clamp.

Yeah, it looks like maybe someone put that hose onto the coolant hose clamp tab (the single tab) to keep the vac hose out of the way while they were working... thats something i would do. Then spend a week trying to figure out where the hell that damn hose disappeared to... LOL

Yeah it is a vacuum leak because it lets in air behind the afm that the computer doesn't know about

Yup!

I took my running drivetrain from my vert that I am ls1 swapping into my s5 coupe that had no running powertrain.

On my '90 GXL it just loops right on top of the hose below it to connect into the UIM.
