Ok I am not that smart when it comes to those little "GTU", "TURBO II" or "GXL" badges on the side of the FC3S's but I am pretty sure that they are painted on. I don't have any on my car and it is a 89 so it can't be an SE which would be on the front. My car is a beige color and I was wondering if this was a stock color? I doubt the car was painted because the engine compartement would have been painted as well. I don't know but I could use some feedback PLEASE!!! The car has power windows, alarm, sport suspension, cloth seats and NO back seats. I need to know if it is a GXL, GTU, or GTUs. The car does have a sunroof though one of my friends has a GTUs and it is identical to mine. Mine does have LSD because I have felt it kick in here and there (really makes the car jerk when I drift). Well thanks for the help.

 

If you have the AAS (auto adjustable suspension-a little switch next to the alarm light) then you are a GXL!

 

by sport suspension do you mean it is eas (adjustable)?

sounds like it is a gxl because of the power windows

That kick may have been your DTSS (if it made you straighten out suddenly)

I think the names on the side of the car are just stickers.

It's a GXL. I have a 90 and it came beige from the factory, so that indeed is a stock color. It wasn't that bad of a color, but it's nothing compared to the shimmering black color that my car is now.

Thanks for all the help guys, funny I thought all GXL's had leather seating, Mine could have been ripped out though. I love the color of my car. It is a sleeper racer since I just got my NOS kit and can't wait to hide those damn tubes in the useless compartments in the back. Catch you all after I beat my friends Talon....BY 5 car lengths!!!

mine has leather. But I covered it with seat covers so I don't have to look at the **** ugly red leather.

 

I have red leather too on my gxl but the leather sucks its hard and it gets cold easy. i would rather not have leather.
