What Happened To G-Force?

I borrowed my friends ECU that has been re-programmed by G-Force and noticed a difference. Now I want one!
I went to G-Force's website and it doesn't work?
Are they still in business?
If they aren't, is there another chip I can buy?
I know of MD Racing, but every time I try to get ahold of them, I can't?

Ya the only other one I know if www.mdrace.com . I think I might have heard of JET but have no info on them. I attempted to email mdrace awhile back with no response. Have you tried to call them?

I just called MD Racing and actually got ahold of somebody!
He wasn't quite sure whether he sold them anymore?
I guess he hadn't gotten enough requests for them!
He said he would contact the engineer tonight to see if he would do it.
I might be forced in to a Haltech. I wanted to wait until I get my new engine, but maybe I will just bite the bullet and get one.

If G-Force is out of business, wouldn't that be hard for Jason to do?

If you have a 89+ I have a Knightsports KSP ROM upgraded ECU for sale.. rare. =)

Even has a switch on it so you can change between normal and rom-tuned modes.

Yep! I am, but I would like to buy the chip to tide me over until I actually get the Haltech. I'm sure once I get the Haltech, the ECU with the upgrade will be easy to sell.

do you still have the blown engine?
Yep! Even with a blown engine, I have run a 13.7 1/4! I think one of the apex seals is cracked! I have 90-90-60 PSI on the rear rotor. I have done the ATF trick and that didn't help. I am also thinking of having Pineapple Racing build me a 400+ HP engine to go with my Haltech.

I seems a while back that G-Force is now part of these guys in the U.S. market - or they acquired them or something like that. I would suggest calling then because I'm pretty sure I read something like this about a year ago...

www.uprd.com

What difference did you notice with the ECU upgrade?

Apex seals affect 2 faces... you have a bad side seal.

It's for a TII. I guess it would be their autocross chip?
He also said that the most boost I could run is 13 PSI.
I don't know if he was talking about fuel cut or the fuel curve programming in the chip. I told him I had a S-AFC and he acted like he didn't know what I was talking about. I think he is from the old school?

cause at 13 psi you're maxing out the stock injectors. what year is that? g-force was 400 for 89+, 300 for 87,88. but I guess it's gone now...

Do you know if its the same price for the N/A autocross? I was thinking of gettin that one but they say you shouldn't run NOS with advanced timing. That chip advances the timing right?

It advances your timing big time! 15 degree advance at idle and it backs down to 5 degrees advances byt the time you reach redline. The fuel curves are also optimized. Only the autocross package is offered now. When I bought mine 3 years ago, I paid $400 and it was worth every penny.
