Arrow what the h3ll??!!

Ok so after my speedo cable vibrated itself loose from the tranny, now after 10 minutes of driving my car, my power steering goes out, and my car beeps at me. but after i turn my car off, then back on its fine. then it does it again. im thinking its because of my speedo cable being unscrewed from the tranny. it did this immediately after my cable came unscrewed. nonetheless its more annoying than anything.

I believe the power steering gets speed info from the speedo cable, something to do with shutting off the power steering above a certain speed.. so it probably freaked out and beeped at you. I know when I removed the power steering out of my 87GXL I had to remove the power steering computer from under the dash because it was beeping.. but I recently did the same on my S5 TII and didn't have to remove the computer.

Power steering sensor gets it's info from the cluster.
No Cable in the Speedo will make the Power steering act up.
Put you cable back on your Transmission. It should Iron out your Power steering issue.

And then you remove the rack, drain it, strip it and remove the seals.
THEN it's "OK">
