i just finally fixed my sunroof today,a whole new assembly for only 40 bucks.i used a silicone based water proof lube,its also used to fix dry rotted rubber stuff.it seems to be pretty thick,but the sunroof open and shuts fine with no assistance.would a thinner lubricant be easier on it? like lithium grease?.or is a thicker grease ok?
