What good is a dyno run for me?
I have a good chance to get on a dyno and make some runs. But without any fuel control, what could this do for me? I guess I could adjust timing to gain 1 horsepower, but is that worth $40? I think it would be a waste; but if you guys could come up with a good reason for me to do it I will.

It's good to do a dyno run so you knopw what it actually runs. I've seen so many people who thinks they can do this and that, end up not hitting 110. Get some prove. Mods dont mean anything if it is crappy

A dyno run is worth every penny. Knowledge is power. You shouldn’y start modifying if you don’t know what you had to start with and you don’t know if everything’s running properly to start with. By measuring A/F ratio and plotting this on the same graph as power and torque you can see if your mixtures are safe and how they’re affecting output.

And scathcart, I'm adding you to my "people I need to throw things at" list.
I know my vert is not gonna pull 200rwhp I really don't care what numbers I get. I know that my car is fast enough now that I can scare myself. It is also fast enough to always keep me moving as fast as possible on the roads I drive. More power would probably just make me wreck. I don't drag race or street race; I don't race at all, come to think of it. I honestly like to just go out and put the top down, and drive; for hours at a time. I do like to keep my car running in the best way possible though. If a dyno run can point out just one flaw in my system then it will be worth the money.

That's another issue. Weight! I have no idea what my car weighs. I really can't get an accurate dyno reading without knowing the weight, correct? I have removed ALOT of stuff.

Make sure they can plot your A/F ratio. Without it, there's no way to see if you're making optimal power.
With your mods, if everything it working right, I'd guess ~150 rwhp.

I am more interested in wheather or not the car is running right then the stupid number. I would rather make 120rwhp and have a well running and set-up car, then have 200rwhp and a poor set-up.

It's good for a baseline, in case you're looking to do future mods.
Also, it's good for troubleshooting stuff you have no idea you had.  This covers the 3,800RPM hesitation, and 6-ports/VDI operation on your vert...
