What does this mean?

What does it mean if my aftermarket boost gauge reads 9psi and my stock gauge reads like half way up only (200mmHg)?

Is it baaaad?

once you start going over stock boost it messes up your stock boost gauge readings.

If you have the factory cats and just a cat back exhaust, it's hard to believe you'd be pulling 9PSI. If there has been mods to the exhaust and you have a FCD, it's possible that there is 9PSI and the factory gauge reads low bevause of the FCD.

Well you have a S5 so you run 7.5psi stock. A catback will do something and 1.5psi isn't much. And what brand of aftermarket gauge do you have? Could also be inaccurate.
