the subframe spacers just make you able to stiffen up the chassis to subframe connection without changing the massive bushing, 240 guys do it all the time. as for the control arm it has 0 bind and 0 movement, hence being the best control arm you can get

Hey guys. Sorry Ted for intruding in your thread. I have 2 of these panels left. I can certainly make more if there's enough interest in people buying them.

Cool stuff going round here, sorry if I double some things.

First off, MORE STUFF FOR N/As! I'm going nuts everyone is making stuff for TIIs and we poor N/A drivers always seem to have to do it slightly differently.

1) an affordable true dual exhaust definately would be something I want, it don't need to be the best performing but I need a new exhaust anyways since my stock one is rusted beyond repair and I dont have the cash for a full RB set f2b.

2) full rats nest removal kit, so all the replacement lines, cap off thingies, instructions, etc.

3) Kit to replace my heavy power windows with something lighter manually operated windows. Also anything else that will simplyfy and lighten my doors

4) new wire looms without all the now obsolete stuff now that I'll have removed my power steering, A/C, airpump, etc

5) good CAI kit for an N/A

6) some good rails so you can put a bucket seat in your car using the stock mounting points without having to drill holes in your car and figure out where to place things.

7) Definately want a good supercharger kit that can be used with a stock and/or ported N/A motor.

I probably think of more when I have more time to dream

How about a cast aluminum thermostat cover for S5s? Would probably be willing to pay around $85-100 for something that would be damend near impossible to break (although luckily, I've yet to crack one).

I want a tesla electric turbocharger.

Sorry, couldn't resist.

I would like to see a form fitted subwoofer enclosure to replace one side of the rear storage bins.

1. make the ash tray under the stereo in too an S-AFC holder. $35-50
2. stereo surround guage holders 2 or 3 (im gonna attemp this one on my own i think. $25
3. an affordable serpentine belt kit for just the ALT, WP, crank, and fan. under $200
4. aftermarket seat brakets
5. i second the idea about modifying the rats nest
6. reman or new engine wiring harness S4-S5-N/A-TII. at a reasonable price.
i know i'll think of more

sounds good to me, i've got exactly $100 lift on my credit card . i like black couplers, but maybe that's just me. polished is not necessary for me, especially if it reduces the price. i'd probably end up painting mine black to make it stand out less. i like clean instead of bling.

In my defense i don't have a problem seeing them when necessary. I dunno why people make such a big deal about seeing the gauges over there, i mean, you look further than that to see your mirror on that side right? Regardless, thats why i have the ones with the warning lights, if you can't spot a red LED out of the corner of your eye while driving you probably shouldn't be.

ted,
you quoted me when i asked about a more stock looking cupholder or something...

what i meant was i dont want flashy bling polished aluminum or anything...i want a normal black or grey cupholder that looks like it came with the car....

i dont want it to stand out...i just want the cupholder function.... the idea of extending the arm rest further back to allow this is acutally a pretty good idea...

Ah, I always wondered what those things were.
I could never figure out what those donuts were for up until now!

Sorry, no exhaust - too bulky to ship.

Striped wires cost a lot of money to sit on.  The plug heads have minimum orders which you also have to sit on - anything dealing with colored wires or plug-in cabability is not something I want to tackle.

Ah, car audio stuff...
The stock stereo sucks, so we're talking serious wiring to install a subwoofer.  It's easier to get a local stereo shop to so this work for you.

Not enough demand for it...

Barely break even on billet, color anodized pulleys, so I doubt at that price.  UR used to sell the set over $300.

reworked cpu ($100) (ie NEW works better than rig)
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There's some guy working on the NA ECU, and I think Henrik (he doesn't come on here too much) is working on the turbo ECU's.
I was not talking about the ECU I was talking about the CPU ie the body computer something with standard wire plug so I can redo the wireing in the car get rid of the crapy spliced with ducttape crap that's there now hehe.

I would pay good $ for a whole new body wireing harnness (all wire ran on one side style) and CPU!

I can try and see if I can find black, but I know they come in blue, red, and yellow.

Yeah, the pipes already come pre-polished.

It depends what you're doing with the gauges, I guess...
If you're just glancing at them, then it's fine; I spin my gauges to show 12 o'clock warning anyways, and peripheral vision will pick this up.
If I need to "read" the gauge, the glove box is a bit too far away for my tastes.  I know I'm going blind, so you might have perfect/better vision than me.

Ah, I understand.
The reason I'm siding more with metal materials is due to strength.  Plastic materials need to be at least 3mm or thicker to be able to take a 48 oz. drink.  Aluminum can be as thin as 1mm, and SS even thinner...
Either or can be easily painted or coated.

Fair enough Anyone else who might be up to the task? Wish I had the skills to make some myself

I think we got enough people on here with skills to do such a write-up?
True, there are some good write-ups out there already IF YOU HAVE A DAMN TII Problem is for us N/A guys, especially guys like me who don't know enough about the engine yet to fill in the gaps. Also there are some small things that would be nice if they come fabricated in a kit, just bolt in and ready to go. Especially getting the fuel lines in a way you know its done right, I hate the idea of doing that part wrong

I think these motors are some of the lightest out there - 3 lbs. per side?
I don't think the manual cranks are any lighter - I've heard they are heavier?
I was actually thinking of something without either, something more on the line like one of those "in window" thingies you see on race cars 'n such. Guess the windows will have to be made of some sort of expensive composit though.

Striped wires cost a lot of money to sit on.  The plug heads have minimum orders which you also have to sit on - anything dealing with colored wires or plug-in cabability is not something I want to tackle.
Yeah thats a bitch, I looked around for replacement wiring and stuff and fine out that stuff for some incomprehenceble reason is way overpriced. I was hoping that was just the shops in the neighborhood

Damn, missed the answers, need to do some reading, I hate reading

thanks for the comments anyways

Gotta second this sub enclosure made specifically for our cars. Material: Fiberglass?

I'm not concerned with the wiring, I could do that myself. Even a mount for a free air sub in the rear Tire area would be awesome. Shipping would be simple since it would have to be pretty flat.

How about a seat belt that doesn't squish my boob? Seriously, who designed these things!

other parts I'd like to see:
1) replacement steering column cover that doesn’t crack
2) custom stereo head unit install bracket – all the ones out there never fit right.
3) reproduction stock “aero-kit” found on the 88 GTU

I think you're thinking about "race glass", and if you do a web search for them, I'm sure there are several vendors who offer them for sale for the FC.  The stuff is called polycarbonate, and it's the generic term for Lexan or bulletproof glass.  It's scratch resistant and won't shatter like plexi.
