What to do, what to do?

Alright, as many of you have heard me bitch about it, my 87 TII got broken into... The hood was stolen...

So, should I go out and buy another TII hood, or should I just get an N/A hood and go with an FMIC? Other than buying an FMIC and getting the piping, are there other mods I need to do? The way I see it, I can buy some sort of FMIC and an N/A hood for pretty much the same cost as a TII hood, so is there anything I am overlooking, or is it really that simple?

THis is why I hate ******* rice boys. In any case this is the route I am taking. I am giving up on a TII hood for my S5 and getting an N/a hood from the yards and slapping a Greddy or Spearco Core on the front of it and making my own piping kit.

I plan on doing some acid etching on all my glass on my TII. I am going to have to investigate if I can do it to engine parts and such. But this is why I hate people that like to do the look thing. It only makes parts get in more demand and prices rise making theives more likely to jack your ****.

I'd fuking kill them. There is no doubt in my mind i would empty a whole clip of .40 Hollow points into someone for stealing my hood, god damn theives. It's damn liberal *** laws that cause this, if there was real punishment for stealing people would be alot less prone to steal. I say you get conviced of stealing you get a finger chopped off, that way you know a theif when you see one. get caught twice you loose your whole fukin hand. No prison time, no probation, no jail .. nothing else that cost us tax payers money... just start chopping limbs.

As soon as I can get a digital camera up, I will go out to my car and take pictures of what was stolen... They got my hood, Optima red top battery, they cut through the intercooler hose to steal my Blitz BOV, they took my FCD (which makes me think it's another person into 7's, because really, you have to know the car to know what that is....) they stole my $9 spark plug wires, my pillar mount boost and oil pressure gauges, my stereo, the stereo surround (which was a brand new Mazda part), my shifter surround, my aftermarket leather shift and e-brake boots, my subwoofer box that took me 12 hours to build to shape it to the space between the back and the shocks... All this while in the parking lot at the Midas.
I am kinda surprised they didn't jack the car up and steal the RB turbo-back exhaust.

All in all, this little affair is costing me about $1500 to fix... All because some punk ***** couldn't go work for a living and earn something for themselves...

I'm still looking for them, and I'm not pulling an O.J. and only checking golf courses. If I find them, I am A) getting my stuff back, and B) pressing charges... I will show up to court everytime they have to go, I will petition the judge for the harshest possible sentence... These ******* must be taught.

I had a 6-month old Valentine One, a two-year old video camera with the last tape of my great-grandmother alive, and a shitload of CD's stolen from my Accord while it was in a crowded parking lot in front of an Ultimate Electronics, next to a mall. Not professionals - left the momo shifter, and the two 12-inch subs with a custom enclosure I designed to be easily removable (for autoX races).

I hate thieves.

I'd rather have people steal my hood, than a $700 FMIC

What what would YOU do! lol, your title reminded me of that crappy show that used to be on Nick back in the day "What would you do?" and they had this crappy background phrase that would say that. Anyways, disregard my comments as they are pointless, lol

when i do a mod to my truck i always use 12point nuts and socket head bolts. never have a had a problem with theft. i ve just about got the whole truck done with them. not many thieves carry allen wrenches and a six point socket will round off a 12 point nut. Just a thought for when you go to replace your stuff.

Here is a few links if anybody is interested. Cheap insurance against valuable parts being stolen but a bitch if you have to take something off and dont have the correct tool.

Sweet, thanks for the info... I will be using those on all sorts of things..

On a side note, just found out my neighbors are building a track car to race at the speedbowl... Turns out they know how to weld/fabricate all sorts of things, they told me they would be happy to help me screw around with the car.
