What do these go to?

Sorry for such a newbie question but I can't figure out what these go to. S5 Tii motor. No air pump no cold start assist and most emissions blocked off. Still have the BAC valve.

There's one on the left, one with yellow tape in the middle and one just above that on the right. Thanks.

The pipe facing us and the other pipe with the yellow tape? That is twisty coolant hose that runs from the engine block to the thermowax.

Just put it back, it helps!

Just to be clear - the one on the left and the one in the middle (yellow tape) get connected? And is the one on the right a vacuum hose?

At my car, the one on the right is connected to the oil injector vacuum lines. That how I got it.

Yes, the far left and middle are for coolant. I posted a pic of the little hose...

The far right one is the vacuum port for the oil injector spider. You know it's vacuum because it's on the manifold.

Ok I bridged those two and capped off the other. I have my vacuum spider going to the intake manifold by some other vacuum nipples.

Then I ran into another problem - apparently the trans brace bolt holes on a vert are different than on a hatch? Wtf...

As far as I know, they are not different between vert and coupe, but they are between auto and manual.

Yeah. The shell I bought was an auto swapped to manual. I just need a crossmember and some angle iron.

If im looking at it correctly the tube coming from the block goes through the throttle body then to the back of the water pump housing. You can really clean up your engine bay by bypassing the throttle body all together.

If you have to spray WD-40 through the holes to chase the channels, this will help you decide vacuum or coolant.

I used my e-cig to blow vapor through a lot of the rats nest. Works real well!

So I got my motor up and running. I don't think I hooked these lines up right because it's drinking coolant. It's got lots of water out the tail pipe and the water is always low after I warm it up. And the idle is choppy. So I need to look at these again.

Try bypassing the throttle body.
Run 1 hose from the back of the block to the thermostat housing.
