Does anyone work on rotaries in Oregon?
I need help.. I think I blew a part of my engine today... Been having cooling troubles and today the car finally just stalled on me after reaching mid temp on gauge.. I have attempted to maintain this car on my own and failed, miserably. Sucking up my pride and looking out for help. If anyone in Oregon, preferably Portland area, works on 86 rx7's I would be interested in paying them to go over it and possibly do a rebuild for me. "/

i dont remember their number or what their shop is called but there was a place in medford that had rebuild ads on craigslist. it isnt up anymore but they charged about 1500 i think, i dont know if that was just for the labor. but atkins has rebuild kits from 1000 - 1500 depending on what you want.

If you have ALL necessary parts, fluids, lubricants, rebuild kit, engine hoist, engine stand, engine stand adapter for rotary rebuilds, jack, jack stands, work space, lodging, food and beer... Then we can talk cash, I'll drive down one weekend and knock it out. And by "ALL necessary parts" I mean anything and everything that we may take off that is brittle and or may be broken in the disassembly/removal process. I'm serious about this.
