You will need bigger secondary injectors. You will also need a clutch.

They can make them anyway you want.

A T70 is a tad large for 400hp too..

Stay away from that turbo, and any ebay turbo.

No. You will need a T4 manifold. Only the stock turbo will bolt to the stock manifold, mazda has their own flange design.

I always wondered how the ebay T70 with the T3 hotside and the manifold setup would run. Has anyone ran that setup? Seems like a good deal for people that want to ditch the internal gate and have a more modern turbo without huge power goals.

Edit: For the Ebay T70 you'd need a T3 to T4 adapter though, which I believe they sell if you buy their manifold setup.

I have one, but haven't logged a lot of miles on it,
have an external oil filter pre-turbo to keep the oil clean, I read somewhere that these cheap turbos suffer from bearing failure due to oil contaminants.

Biggest thing I don't like is that the turbo (with the manifold adapter and ebay manifold)
is basically on the shock tower. Around the front brake line..

A T70 is way too big for 400hp. A better fit would be a GT3540, TS04 (T58), T61, or T64.

Its a terrible mismatch of a turbo. The compressor section is HUGE compared to the turbine section. A T70 should be mated to a Q trim turbine wheel, which is probably 3 steps up from what they have in that..
