I just replaced the o2 sensor, fuel filter, and adjusted my tps. Before this my 87 gxl would barely spin the tires in 1st gear. Now I run the risk of overreving in 1st and can actually spin the tires in second also. The engine has around 160k. I love the difference. Parts only cost me around 60 bucks.

I thought the O2 sensor was more than $60? Oh and is there a write-up for adjusting the TPS? Thanks.

 

o2sensor $18. us, autozone. there is a post on how to make a tps led light and how to adjust it i forgot the link but i think if you try search led tps adjust you might find it. may take awhile but it is really worth it. oh check search for CONSTANT ENGINE MONITOR you will like it .
