What colour for stock rims?

I was balancing my tires, and i scratched the **** out of the rim...I am going to paint it another colour, what should i get? Stock 87 GXL rims 15"

Do either white or silver... That would look best on a sky blue car IMO.

NOT black. Dark rims look like ***, they blend right in with the tires and look like year round snow tires.

hmm, well i like black...black is nice....white i think it suits the AE, but hey. I can always repaint again

Black rims themselves would be ok...but since one clearly needs the tires, they just blend in too much. Black rims can't compliment a car if they look like the tires...

You could always just get some whitewall tires to constrast with the dark rims though.

Some one here obviously hates the Japanese look on wheels, I love black wheels. I don't think they would look good on a Sky Blue car though, I like them on white and red cars<- they don't contrast the tires but they do contrast the body color. I say white.

Not that paint. It is just my opnion that anodized aluminum looks so much better than painted aluminum. ESPECIALLY in black. Even powdercoating looks better than paint.

Dark silver or Pewter. Hides the brake dust very well+ isn't as dark as the race car black look.

How deep are the scratches. Is it possible to polish the face of the rim and black out the indents. I suggest this since this is what i did.
