What color is your mazda OEM oil filter?
Is it black like this one?

Or do you have a blue one... apparently the canadian mazda oil filters are blue, are sold with plastic wrap in them.... unlike the USA ones where they come in a box.

Latley I have only gotten BLACK ones from the dealer - But I have seen BLUE ones on other cars 
I think the color changed when MAZDA went with PUREOLATOR as their North American OEM supplier.
