What boost would you start using 91/93 octane??

Just curious... I know the 6lb boost of a stock 7 is fine for 87 octane... at what boost would 91 be required? (Don't want to find out the hard way! )
I'm only going to be running about 9-10 lbs.

And yes, I'm still alive... been through a lot of stuff the last few weeks, havn't even touched the car to wash it!
I'm back now though... low 13's here we come...

Yep. As a turbo guy, I would never consider using anything less than high octane 91. 94 might be overkill, unless you are tuned for it.

Basically, unlike NA's, using the highest octane is actually beneficial in terms of preventing detonation.

93 octane always. Midgrade or regular has never touched my engine, only 63k original miles.

so for us people that only get 91 as our highest option, when do we need to start worrying about getting higher octane fuel?
