What is this for?

Hope the picture works... I just got rid of my first gen and now have a 86 and im not sure what this is? can anyone help? Thanks in advance

5th-6th port actuators- that whole unit that is attached to you LIM activates the 5th and 6th ports

is that a harness thats broken the picture sucks bad can you get any closer pics

is this any better? I can see where it broke off at. So with it being broke in high speed it won't run right?

The broken part has nothing to do w/ the aux ports. That's one of the solenoids on the ACV. I think it's the split air solenoid, but you can check the FSM to be sure. You're not going to pass smog with it broken, but it won't do anything else.

^ Now that you mention it I do see the finger in the picture pointing to not the aux port actuator.

Uh, it's not an aux port actuator. The finger is pointing to the ACV.

FSM is in the FAQ.
