what is this ?

AC & CV cover plate

I just bought a racing beat road race exhaust (dual exhaust) and the header stated it comes with the AC & CV cover plate now what is that and do I need it?

this is an S4 so I have the air tube for the actuators HOWEVER I bought the header that has the air tube to open the actuators, so do I need what ever it is this plate blocks or not?

also I should be able to remove the air pump now to right?

The ACV is a member of the secondary air injection system. Since it appears you may be deleting your catylitic converter, that particular item is no longer needed on your car.

ACV = Air Control Valve... regulates air from the airpump to the exhaust. It's located between the 5th & 6th port actuators on the passenger side of the motor.

ah ok so I wont need it since I am doing the rb exhaust, removing the air pump and running the 6 ports directly to the header?
