what is this

its a little black peice of plastic with r al and a 1 way scew in the middle its posioned on the shock tower mouted to the maf mount can any body tell me what it is

a picture would help but i believe your talking about the idle mixture adjustmetn screw. it has an 'R', and an 'L' with an arrow bweteen them correct?

sorry no cam but thats it what does it do and could it be ajusted for more power or is it just for idle
