what is this

its a little black peice of plastic with r al and a 1 way scew in the middle its posioned on the shock tower mouted to the maf mount can any body tell me what it is

a picture would help but i believe your talking about the idle mixture adjustmetn screw. it has an 'R', and an 'L' with an arrow bweteen them correct?

sounds like the rich/lean pot for idle.

sorry i dont know how i psted that crap twice and i woul also like to say that every other forum downs this one but its the most informative one iv been on so thaks for that also

it adjusts the air/fuel mixture only at idle. there should be no need to ever adjust it.
