this is a newbie question. what is the lil thing that has a R and a L on the front right side of the engine bay and what does it do?

Just play with it back and forth to where the car seems to idle best with it, then leave it there.

it seems 2 idle better when its almost all the way 2 the R side but it freakin smells. will i shot flames soon lol?

This only effects idle, not driving or cruise or anything else.
