what is this?

87 NA. This sensor thing has a hose blocked off. Very new to these cars. I'm sure this goes so something and probably makes a difference.

Alright picture should be posted. There's no wires going to it. Its just bolted to the intake and I'm guessing its supposed to go to some sort of vacuum line.

Well I'm damn sure the Guy who owned it before me messed with every screw under the hood. How do I adjust "correctly"

Warm the car completely up and jumper the initial set coupler and turn the screw to the left where it wants to idle lower then turn it the opposite direction til the idle reaches its highest point then back it off just a smidgeon. For the most part a little to the right of the halfway mark is usually good.

And the Cold Assist unit does not work thus why its been disconnected.

Well thank you, and what is the Initial set coupler?

Ok just looked it up. The smaller green plug next to the larger one by my left front head light.
