Turbo2with33k you should have asked who on this forum has 400rwhp. Then PM'd the few that do because this way you will get a ton of smartass responces to a legitimate question. I am also working on this and my answer would be stand alone first. Then it comes down to time and money.

There's an FC drift car featured in the latest issue of Modified Mag. Has some good info about what a 400hp FC needs to be reliable...

Power and speed don't mean anything if you blow up your motor from poor driving and lack of experience (either in driving or tuning).

You can't win the race, if you can't finish the race.

" you could push it past the finish line".

Give the kid a break, at least he did some research. If he blows a motor or 2 then let him have it, it's not like it's costing us any cash.

Having said that, kid you need to calm down. Most of the people here are really tired of idiot people asking very stupid questions. Just calm down and the let some of this stuff slide. We love our cars, we don't like seeing them hurt.

About the dampener

Before you touch even one thing; the first thing you should do is a tune up replacing spark plugs, S plugwires, filters, all fluids, O2, belts, any leaking gaskets, re-lube the front bearings and replace the Pulstation dampner.

Anything else should be secondary and not considered until the full tune up is done.
I removed fuel rails from several s4/5s at the parts yard, and every one of the fuel pulse dampeners had their screw loose and rattling around in the endcap. Check yours -- I'm curious.

I think the problem everyone had is that if you read the first 10 posts, there were numerous lists, and minus minor typos and such, very accurate and knowledgable advice/debate, and there was not any smart *** answers. Then he attacked those who were nice enough to donate their time and, more importantly, their knowledge to his "project."

There is no respect for someone like that. If you're going to ask a question in a public forum, you had better be prepared for the responses, Especially if the responses are the ones he was looking for in the first place.....

Not to jack your thread, but maybe the answer to this question will help you out. My sign. shows where I'm at with mods(as long as I can get it to show up). I'm trying to find out where about I would be in HP if I go the next level with a front mount and a micro tech tuned for safe HP. Maybe somebody is close to where I'm at and have dynoed.

you are joking right? 400hp is easy for a 13BT unless he wants to stay with an n/a and go up to 400 then thats a problem lol. Its a pretty standard build up to 400whp for an FC TII. A TO4(proper size ofcoarse) will do that no problem.
well if you take the post right before mine that he is serious about the 20b serious then ya
