i have an issue with a 87 na fc. It usually wont start at first. its got fuel cause i know the injectors were just rebuilt and i hear the pump working. It will just crank. So i umpluged the cas and plugged in another one i had to hear the injectors click. They were clicking so i connected the old cas back and it started. But ive been doing that everytime to start the car. i plug in another cas and spin it to make injectors clickk. plug in the old cas and it starts up.

Any ideas why its like this?

 

Have you tried removing the CAS and installing the spare?

 

Going to try later today if I have time. Just wondering if anyone had this problem or any idea why it would be doing it

Whats your fuel pressure? Or Bad temp sensor making it not realize it needs more fuel for cold start maybe?

 

is this only while its cold?

 

usually on a cold start. sometimes on a hot start as well.

 

If you tried to start the car and it didn't start and you walked away from the car w/o doing the CAS exchange but came back to the car and tried to start the car would it then start up.
