Question weird smell on heavy acceleration

When I floor it in 1st gear, when I get up past 5-6k or so, I smell something. I shift into 2nd, and the smell quickly goes away. It's definately not gas. I might guess tires, but I don't hear them squealing. It might be oil, but it doesn't smell like what I think oil smells like. I have no clue what it could be or if it's a problem. There's no hesitation or weird noises or anything, and I think it only happens in 1st gear at high revs and full (or almost full) throttle. I'll try flooring it in 2nd and 3rd to see if it does it then, too, but I don't think it does.

Were you at operating temperature? My car stinks like a bastard if I redline it cold. (Which is a bad idea for a couple of reasons, by the way.) I think my secondaries plugged up for a second and released. The car jerked and started to stink. Not like anything normal, but like a smog smell.
