weird 'pulsing' idle

A couple times when ive started up my car, it has gone no problem, but once its started the idle falls, and sort of bounces between like 250 and 1000 rpms. sometimes it just dies altogether. anyone know what it could be?

and jsut to not make another post.... how do you know when its time to replace your spark plugs? The prices on Icemarks site are amazing!

sry if tis been posted already, I tried searching but found nothing.

thks

You need to adjust your mechanical idle per the FSM...

Jumper the initial set connector (it'll probably die when you do this) and tweak the idle adjust screw (top of the TB) counter-clockwise to get her to 750 rpm...

The bouncing is the BAC trying to keep her from dying...

aren't you supposed to disable the bac when you try to set the idle, and how the heck do set the TPS ot 1 OHM or whatever it is. I need to deal with this problem on my car too, and i also have a bit of a jerk when switching between accelerating and decelerating and vica versa. Its starting to bother me alot.

is there a more laymans way of explaining that, how do you jumper the initial set connector? and the screw on the throddle body? is it exposed or do need to find it?
