Don't take sharp corners at high speeds with 1/4 tank of gas

Are you saying that this only happens during u-turns? If so, you may have a loose ground wire somewhere.

well i was going down the high way and it was doing this too but it was more like a spatur like as the rpms would climb i would get some hesitation and at one point i got major hesitation it was like the car just went into neutral i had no power going to the wheels at all but it was still in gear!

So the engine is performing normally/smoothly but the power isn't getting to the wheels?

And no offense, but your english is ****.

Is that a yes to the engine ok/power to wheels question? Congratulations on your grammer stance, but you're the one who started this thread - you gonna finish it?

Here's where the ground wire idea is from:

There's been other threads about this, and it has happened to me. Someone takes a hard corner, hitting a hard bump in the process, and the engine dies. It means that a connection somewhere is just loose enough that the circuit was momentarily broken and -zoink- the engine quits.

I was delivering pizza a few weeks ago, and came zipping down and road and pretty much had to throw the car into the entranceway of a co-op. BANG! The entranceway wasn't steep, but I still thumped it hard. Next thing I know, my christmas tree lights up and the engine is dead. She restarted instantly (cancel heart attack!) That's the only time that I can ever recall that happening with my FC.

Check this out:

I'm unable to find the thread I'm thinking of by searching. You could try starting a new thread to get the 411 from people who know more about it.

There's been several different fixes on this forum for cars that cutoff when doing aggresive left hand cornering. Some people find that the fuel pump itself is bad and a swapout fixes the problem. Could also be a wiring problem.
In my case I found it to be an almost clear varnish that was covering the filte/screen right at the fuel pump inlet in the tank. I could lift the fuel pump out of the car and the fuel would be retained inside the filter element I just refered to. The fuel would just drip out of the screen, so you can imagine what was happening while driving. Starvation. Almost only happened when I was at less than a quarter tank. CAr would just die in the middle of the turn, then catch and run when I straighted out. I soaked that filter/screen in some thinner and it works just fine now. Other people find other things causing their problem. Check you main fuel filter also.
One thought I had before finding the real problem, was I thought the flapper door was sticking in the afm, or the fuel sw in the afm was corrupt. Was not the case.

STEVO970......Its possible that we're talking about two diffferent things. I'm talking about going around a common street corner aggressivly, then at the middle of the turn its like someone turned the key to off, and as I exit the turn the engine catches again, as if someone turned the key back on. Im my case it was caused by total fuel starvation in the middle of the turn and getting enough fuel pressure as I came out of the turn to run the engine again. I can just say application of the fuel pedal during this dying period did nothing. I more than less proved the problem was the fuel pumps filter by swapping out b/t cars and not having the problem with the swapped pump nor the old pump after the filter/screen was cleaned. Like I say, its possible your problem is another thing all together. I think not though.
