weird cold start SOMETIMES??

so about a week ago i go out early in the morning to start my car and its just cranking and cranking. so i pull the egi fuse and do that little procedure and it started right up. i was worried about it doing more and more, but it was good for about a week.

i go out yesterday and it didi it again, so i had to do the egi fuse bs again just t get it to start. it did it again this morning and i cant figure out what gives. possibly leaky injectors? thanks

try new spark plugs, and see if that remedies your problem, i just bought a gxl that sat for a year and a half and it kept flooding due to the fact the spark plugs were fouled, it possible that by doing the flood trick your just cleaning them good enough to get some spark until they get dirty again.

(i didn't lube my leading holes either cause i forgot to buy the fluid which is why i think mine were fouled since it cranked on try number one in two seconds and has been cranking in 30 degree nights since)

good point.... except i replaced my sparkplugs about 600 miles ago and i havent been driving it without letting it warm up. so there is no reason they should be fouled right?

Check your water thermo sensor (behind the water pump).
Either it's bad or there's a break in the wires. If it's intermittent, it may be hard to see spec at the ECU.

can you post a pic of one leading and one trailing for my curiosity and definitely check out what the guy in the post above me said, also make sure your getting spark and use some dielectric grease on your spark plug wire to spark plug boot
