this is weird...

my was just outside.. checking my engine codes, and as my key was on "on" there was this whirring from my intake manifold.?? it seem like its comming from the center.?? i've never really notice this.? have you guys ever encounted this before.?? is this somthing that im suppose to be worrying about.?.. cause i kinda of am.. well thanks.. oh and this is a 90 gtu..

some kind of auxilary fan? some newer cars have that feature.

oh.. hUumm an auxilary fan.. i thought it was somthing like that.. or a little motor of some sort in there.. cause you can hear it hUmming.. sounds like a whirring...

alternator? that's the only thing that even remotely makes sense to me. Since you are using power, I believe it still comes on.

yea, i thought it was the alternator too.. i stuck my ear right next to it.. but heard nothing.. it was comming more from the inner motor, more of the center of the intake manifold..?? weird.. i don't really have a clue.. so im just asking you guys.. if anyone would know.?? cause im really stump too...

mine does that also. But only when i pull the engine fuse to unflood the car. I have no clue what it is. Never tried to track it down. Just put the engine fuse back in and all's well. ^_^

Fuel flowing through the rails in some cases, the BAC valve clicking rapidly in others.

Put your finger on a fuel rail and see if it is that. THen try the BAC valve.

Either is normal.
