Unhappy Weight of 88 GXL?

I've searched. Came across this http://2ndgenrx7.freeservers.com/specsmaster.html
It suggests that a SE weights the same as GXL. Obviously Incorrect.

Many people tell me different weights which leaves me confused. Anybody know the weight of a 88 GXL? I originally had the rear seats but I swapped them out for the storage bins.

So It Is safe to say I am looking for the weight for a GXL- non 2+2.

Really, about 2700-2800 pounds. Don't know if you need an exact number - it really depends on the car being full of fluids or not, etc.

If you want to know how much *your* car weighs, go to the city dump or a weigh station.

GXL's have -

- better seats
- power windows, mirrors
- power steering
- better grade carpet
- auto adjusting suspension
- rear wiper
- better stock stereo
- leather as an option
- cruise control

Some of these options could be ordered on a base, but they all came on the GXL standard. You could only get leather on a GXL or TurboII.

Go to a weigh station or the dump. Every car is different, no one can tell you how much your car weighs. People told me my 86' sport weighed about 2700#, well I weighed it and it was 2600 with me in it. (I weigh about 160)

I really need to get some better seats because the way mine are it hurts my back to drive. The only downside to my car.

I want to know b'c I a planning on dynoing my car soon. Dyno man asks for the weight of the car. So I want to provide accurate number. I may just go to a dump or a weight station for exact accuracy, unless anybody has accurate specs.

Not sure. I just heavier to be safe.

But it's been proven the manual windows are heavier than the power ones.
