way to test the cas?

Pull the cas. Put a meter on the red wire and the white wire. Put the meter on a/c volts. Spin the cas gear. You should be able to get apporx 1.5 to 2vac out of it by spinning by hand. Do the same with the black/white and the green wire.

Either that or pull the plug off the ECU and get on the appropriate wires and spin the engine with the starter.

On a normal car the rpm signal comes from the bullet connector on the Trail Coil Assy. It is a blue/yellow wire. I suppose your micky tech does it differently since you asked the above question. But if it does not.....then go to the blue/yellow wire...bullet connector on the trail coil assy.

NO. It's a YELLOW wire with a BLUE stripe. NOT blue/yellow. http://www.teamfc3s.org/info/articles/demystifying.html

How do the two coils read out (resistance)? Between 110 and 200 ohms apiece, IIRC. Put the key of the CAS plug up, then read the two left side pins, then the two right side pins (I'm trying to do this from memory, so it might be vice-versa, don't shoot me, lol)
